I "upgraded" to 8.1 as prompted as there didnt seem to be an option not to.
My perfectly good computer is now ruined.
The display wont go to the edges of my screen.
There is a black border like a funeral intimation all round the display which also looks a bit weird almost like its in safe mode.
I tested the display by running Ubuntu from a USB.
Guess what? No issues with Ubuntu.
Works perfectly.
Also why do I now have to sign in whenever I start my computer? I have never done that in the past and there doesnt seem to be an option not to.
All in all I am disgusted with Microsoft for doing this to my computer.
With no option to uninstall 8.1 either.

A disgrace.
