Cannot install updates KB2529073 & KB 2532531 for Windows 7
Original Title : Unsuccessfull updates KB2529073 & KB 2532531
My computer has tried four times, unsuccessfully each time, to install the following two updates: KB2529073, KB2532531.
Each time takes over my laptop for 3 hours as it first applies and then reverts the changes to the system.
After I get to log back in again, there are no error messages, or any error codes.
Even plowing through the installed updates windows, or any other window
related to the updates, all it will tell me is that these two updates were failed, but that it is recommended they are installed.
I have no other access to them, to try and remove them.
They dont even appear in the New Updates to be applied window; the next set of different updates do e.g.
KB976932.
I cant use my laptop as I should be able to, having to keep it powered and make sure the
'Automatic restart after update' application isn't allowed to countdown to zero.
