another Windows 7 explorer problem
Hello everybody !
After starting the computer the following problems appear:
Windows explorer starts only from the task-bar by clicking on it.
- Windows explorer starts only from the task-bar by clicking on it.
- If I press Win+E buttons the windows explorer crashes.
- Explorer also crashes on right click (it does not matter if the right click is made on the desktop, in an icon, on a start menu item, etc...) After the crash I must restart the explorer an then I can start other programs, excepting the followings:
- AutoCAD and Word can not start.
(sorry, I didn't test if the Solitaire could start or not...)
Everything is working fine only after a restart.
It is very frustrating to start my computer two times.
The system is Windows 7 32bit on a 64 bit Dell Latitude E6510.
The windows is clean, I had uninstalled even the anti virus to not have problems with the right click menu.
On an another laptop the problem is the same with the explorer but the AutoCAD is starting only if I reboot the computer without network cable, start AutoCAD, making some changes on the user interface (removing button groups :) )than restart the computer
with the network cable to have network drives access...
Can anyone help me to resolve the problem?

Hey pgyz,
Step 1:
Check event viewer logs and get back to us:
What information appears in event logs? (Event Viewer)

Also, check what happens in safe mode:

Step 2:
I suggest you to put the computer in clean boot state from safe mode and then boot to normal mode and check.
To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Refer the link below for more details:
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows 7:

Note:
After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps in the above article to reset the computer to start as usual.
Step 3:
Also, run the SFC scan and check.
Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file.
To do this, follow these steps:
a.
Open an elevated command prompt.
To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password,
or click Allow.
b.
Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
More Information about SFC scan can be found in this document:

Boot in Safe Mode:
- Open Run command as previously described
- Type MSConfig
- Click on Boot tab
- Tick Safe boot in Boot option
- Select Network
- Click Apply and OK
- Reboot your system
Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
