I am not computer literate, so to speak, so  bear with me please, and use kindergarten terms if you would so I understand you.
I have a problem every time on go on the internet and try to watch a video presentation.  Today, for example, I was trying to watch a Canon presentation on photography.  The video stops and starts and stops and starts and takes fooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor
ever and ever and ever to watch.
Please help me fix this very annoying problem.  Can I actually watch something without all the buffering, I believe it's called?  Thanks for your help..................

Can you also tell me if it's a good idea to update my windows Vista Home premium inspiron 1720 and what are your recommendations........it runs slow and I get windows stopped working and is shutting down problems.  I have daily updates set up but don't know
what gets updated.  I see Vist 7 out there.
Is that something I should also get?

If you are having trouble with Internet Explorer opening slow (Getting to your home page and browsing the internet) then it could be a couple different things.
One for example, could be the amount of add-ons you have installed, for example toolbars,
Yahoo, Google things like that.
Another thing could be virus or spyware infections.
Have you scanned your computer recently for infections?

To check if add-ons are causing the issue, try the below.
·         Click the Start Orb on the
Desktop
·         Click All Programs
·         Select Accessories
·         Select System Tools
·         Select Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)
Opening from here will open that instance of Internet Explorer with no add-ons; do you see an improvement with the speed?

Where are you getting the download?

There are malicious people who download valid copies of a popular download, modify the file with malicious software, and then upload the file with the same name. Make sure you are downloading from the developer's web page or a reputable company.
