After reinstall of Windows 7, C Drive is almost full and no programs are installed

Hey.
I was wondering if you could help me.
Let me tell you step by step what has happened so it will help with people getting the right info.

I had a "virus" oh my computer that was something blackhole I believe and from what I heard was something to try and get your passwords.
Well ok so that went on and it kept bouncing around, but it seems my AVG was somewhat controlling it.
Well around two
months ago I had a trojin pop up and got rid it of it twice with a system restore to before it appeared then tired to use McAfee to get it off which worked.

Well then a month ago my computer went out/crashed as you say and from a friend's husband who works on computers said it was a virus that had hidden ones on there that will give fake pop ups/aka malware.
So he started to delete some off my computer.
I'm
not sure he got all off, but not sure.
So A a week ago I got Windows 7 Pro to wipe my computer clean and start over again.
Seemed to work, but did have a problem with trying to get the net working untill I learned I had to find the drive to do it with.
Now
the Windows 7 Pro was just a 64 Bit, not the full package so I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

So I come to the C Drive and find out it's pretty full.
Have no idea why.
There is only a tiny bit of space.
I did a disc clean up and a defrag and still the same.
In some of the folders where it says it's empty I did a virus scan and from that it says they
have stuff in them.
I don't have any programs installed so it's not that.
I tried to install some and that is when I saw how full it was.
If anyone could help please do.
Thanks
