Any workarounds for no 64-bit Canon printer driver?

I'm looking for creative ideas on my friend's current conundrum. He got a new $400 Compaq PC from Best Buy loaded w/ Windows 7 64-bit. All went swimmingly well until we got to his Canon ImagePass D660 laser printer. No 64-bit driver. Canon will never
create a 64-bit driver for it. He LOVES this printer and does not want to abandon it. We can print to the printer from a laptop we converted from 32-bit Vista to 32-bit 7. I'd share the printer from the laptop to the desktop but I believe that would still
require a 64-bit driver.
I see only two options, unless someone can suggest another:
1.
Repurchase Win 7 at retail; wipe & reload the PC with 32-bit. Not sure if 32-bit drivers are available for the internal hardware. No CD came with the PC, either.
2.
Return the PC and locate another PC with 32-bit loaded - probably via Dell or HP online.
If there is ANY way to circumvent a problem where there is no 64-bit support for a printer but another networked PC can print via 32-bit, I'd love to know about it. Thanks for any help that can be passed on!

Even if networked you would need to install the Printer software / drivers on the local PC
The Cannon is an old model (2002) with only drivers for win9* thru winxp

Microsoft Windows Requirements :

Disable the Human Interface Device Access service and check with the issue.
To disable the service:
1.       Click on Start
2.       Type services.msc in the search bar and hit enter
3.       Right click on the service and click on properties
4.       Go to General tab and select
Startup type as Disabled

Manually editing the Windows registry to remove invalid MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION keys is not recommended unless you are PC service professional. Incorrectly editing your registry can stop your PC from functioning and create irreversible damage to your operating system. In fact, one misplaced comma can prevent your PC from booting entirely!

Caution: Unless you an advanced PC user, we DO NOT recommend editing the Windows registry manually. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall Windows. We do not guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

To manually repair your Windows registry, first you need to create a backup by exporting a portion of the registry related to MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION (eg. Windows Operating System):

Click the Start button.
Type "command" in the search box... DO NOT hit ENTER yet!
While holding CTRL-Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER.
You will be prompted with a permission dialog box.

[Solved] application not found error

application not found error

I had to swtich back to IE7 a few months ago because of some email issues that Microsoft said they were working on.
For some reason yesterday, I cannot go to any links from any emails that I receive, it says application not found.
I can go to the same
links from my office computer that receives email from the same account without any problem.
What could have caused this and how can I go about correcting it?

I have some code that ran the last time I was in a workbook, but no longer runs. The error message I get is:

"Unable to get the SumIfs property of the Worksheet Function Class"

If I change the function to some other function like SumIf, or cosh, the application.workbookfunction works okay. This ran without issue the last time I ran it. The specific code line is:

                    rsrcValue.Cells(lngX, intCol).Value = ThisWorkbook.Application.WorksheetFunction.SumIfs( _
                    arg1:=rHL, arg2:=rC, arg3:=strC, arg4:=rMAOP, arg5:=strMAOP1) + _
                    ThisWorkbook.Application.WorksheetFunction.SumIfs(arg1:=rHL, arg2:=rC, arg3:=strC, _
                    arg4:=rMAOP, arg5:=strMAOP2)
I have also tried this (with srcWB as a workbook objecr being passed to the subroutine

If you look at your range definitions, they need to be the same length to work in the SUMIFS. Some are entire columns and some are partial columns.   Fix that and let us know if it helps.

Download the Microsoft Windows ISO (installation device) from the following website:

Users must select the appropriate ISO, either 32 bit or 64 bit, depending upon their individual computer.
Extract the ISO file to a separate USB device or burn the program to a compact disc.
Run the Microsoft Windows 10 upgrade directly from the software that you have thus created.
